Christmas Tunes

I love listening to internet radio. Nashville has plenty of broadcast radio stations, but most of them are country (which I hate with a passion), and they are all way too commercial. Usually, when I listen to the radio, I just listen NPR. But during work, I like to have a little music playing. Come Christmas time (now earlier than Thanksgiving thanks to retail America), I have to get my Christmas music fix.

Traditional Christmas music is fine — and I listen to a lot of it — but my favorite station is Xmas in Frisko. This station is great! I’ve listened to it every Christmas for the past several years. From their site, Xmas in Frisko is “SomaFM’s wacky and eclectic holiday mix. Not for the easily offended.” Admittedly, I do sometimes have to turn it off because of language. But overall, this station plays Christmas classics right alongside the funniest Christmas music you will ever hear. I highly suggest you tune in and enjoy.
